But to be honest, I am sitting here at school with 2 hours left until finishing time, and I am bored, so I thought I'd share a short post about today's excitement!
CRYSTAL IS COMING TO SOUTH KOREA!!!!
That's right, friends, Miss Crystal Dawn has already hopped on a plane and is flying in the air as I type to make her way over to South Korea!
I am so entirely excited and filled with anticipation to have her here with me. God has had this all planned out even before we knew why (and we will still be in the process of finding that out over the next month). For me, I know of many reasons. This is going to serve as such a bonding and mending and growing and encouraging time spent together. Also, I had always planned on coming home during my summer vacation (of 3.5 weeks), but now that I am not renewing my contract and am moving to Seoul for Language School at Sogang University (meaning tuition fees and saving for living expenses)....well, I need to save the money for one, I only have an 8-day vacation (since I'm not renewing), and unless by some miracle it happens, it doesn't look like I will be able to come home this summer. Little did I know how much this "bit of home" would mean until recently. I will explain in more detail later about these change of plans, but for now, what it means is that God is bringing Crystal here for some godly, sisterly encouragement...and vice versa for her. Seeing all that God is already doing here, I cannot doubt that He has something fabulous in store for this season! In the words of Big Bang, "Fantastic Baby!"
